Update to original post: Lawrence now claims the hole HE drilled was premeditated and that I did not have the money! Add LIAR to the list of why you should not use his services! Lawrence was the mover (and owner, I presume) that I communicated with regarding the move of a wooden office desk and matching cabinet. The movers were originally scheduled at 10:30 am. At 9:45 am, I messaged Lawrence with the address and to confirm the 10:30 am arrival time. He then told me he would have to push to time back to 11:00 am. Once 11:00 am passed and they had not arrived, I again messaged him. He then called me and told me he had to push the time back to 12:00 pm. Lawrence and the second mover finally arrived at 12:20 pm. Once the desk and cabinet were transported to my home and the movers were done re-assembling the pieces, I noticed a drill hole on the top of the desk that was not there prior to the move. Lawrence did not have a response for why he had drilled a hole in the desk. I docked his pay by $50 for the lateness (which he was not proactive about keeping me informed about what time he was going to arrive) and for the hole in the desk. When I told him about how much I was paying him and why, he then proceeded to storm out of my house, slam my front door, and threw a water bottle in my driveway. Do not use him!!!!Apr 3, 2018VerifiedLawrence P.'s reply
I'm very sure that no past customers that I have ever served in any of my service will believe your narrative about the table and our attitude. We are very careful with furniture, floors, walls, and all other components of moving. We are happy, smiling, and very easy to work with. We have been very lucky to meet those that appreciate us. We are grateful to our customers. We will not in anyway whatsoever slam your door, throw water bottle or possess such terrible attitude. Yes we were late and we explained to you. We had a schedule issue on 3/30 and 3/31 which made adjustments to those who accepted to work with it. You accepted to work with our new time, you didn't have any issue with that. Work COMPLETED , YOU DIDN'T COMPLETE YOUR PAYMENT. Only you knew why. Anyone will understand that lateness claim would've been handled prior to moving you and not AFTER moving you. You took advantage of our kindness and easy way of serving people. We had no regrets either but only what we did was to wish you a wonderful day.
