Yvonne and her assistant Kelly literally made our wedding perfect for us from morning to night. Our wedding was a destination wedding for us at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, RI and we felt so at ease knowing that our day of coordinator was Yvonne. She was responsive months in advance! Her assistant Kelly arrived to our hotel at the time of makeup and hair to help me and my bridal party with everything we didn’t even know we needed help with yet! Yvonne arrived to our venue early to handle everything with our florist, caterers, DJ, and every absolute vendor we had working our wedding. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day run smoothly and made us feel so at ease and special throughout the whole day. We had to make last minute changes with the order of events due to unexpected windy weather but Yvonne handled the situation and changes so quickly and didn’t let us feel stressed at all! She really was the best wedding coordinator and her assistant was amazing! We were beyond happy working with them! They made our wedding day so special and perfect! We can’t recommend Unique Melody Events enough! The best wedding day planner/coordinator ever, and we couldn’t be happier that we got the opportunity to have them work our most special day!

First of all I have to admit I didn’t even know day of coordinators existed. Then I was really lucky enough to get ahold of Yvonne. She very quickly set up azoic meeting with me,my daughter,herself and Catherine- our actual coordinator. From then on, all the weight was lifted off my shoulders and Catherine took charge. She and my daughter Katie bonded over hairstyles during trials and she was amazing! Wedding day came and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Please if you ever need a true professional, then get in touch with this team. They are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Love them 💕💕💕

Yvonne was an extraordinary Wedding Coordinator! She did an amazing job helping us get organized and making sure everyone knew where they should be during the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding she came early and helped set-up decor and tables, coordinated and communicated with the vendors and assisted in a flawless wedding ceremony. As the bride, I came in on a boat, so i can tell you the organization wasn't easy! Bt it was beautiful. After the ceremony, she helped DJ because our DJ (a friend) had to cancel a week before and helped with transitions between all of our toasts (we had a few!). Her assistant, Illiana, was also incredible and very kind and helpful. We loved working with them! My family and I feel so fortunate to have had the support and guidance of Yvonne, Illiana and Unique Melody to make our wedding so special and beautiful. Thank you Yvonne and Illiana! Nathalie

It's always hard to put your vision in someone else's hands.. especially being a fellow designer yourself. But choosing Yvonne, to not only put together my vision and all my Diy decor along with coordinating my wedding.. was the best decision ever..! She was on top of everything... and I mean everything!!! Being a bride is nerve wrecking, especially with so much responsibility and the rush of everything going on, you forget to breathe or even eat. Yvonne was just on top of it all.. she made our day go smoothly, she decorated our ceremony area and hall as envisioned. Everything was perfect.. I would highly recommend her for all events.. She is very talented..as is her assistant. They are a great team!!! You will not be disappointed in your choice.. I know we definitely were happy with our decision and glad to have met such a great person.. I felt like we knew each other forever.. I hope for the opportunity to work with them again.. and I will definitely look forward to it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your time,patience and hard work...

We hired Yvonne and Unique Melody for day-of wedding coordination services and are so glad we did! From our first phone call we knew that Yvonne was a professional and she immediately demonstrated attention to detail, asking us about our plans and vision as well as questions we hadn't even thought about ourselves yet. When it came to the month before our wedding, Yvonne was an active contact with our vendors and musicians and made sure that we had everything covered and ready to go. Throughout the entire wedding day Yvonne and her assistant Iliana took care of so many details, from bringing tablecloths and arrangements to the venue, to setting up the place card table, and putting finishing touches on the chuppah. Once the guests arrived, she kept everything running on time and interfaced with all of our vendors, troubleshooting a few unexpected things that came up along the way without missing a beat. Yvonne made sure that, after all of the hours we spent planning, preparing and, perhaps, stressing out, we didn't have to worry about single a thing from the start to the end of our wedding day. We cannot recommend Yvonne and Unique Melody Events enough. Thank you for helping to make our day stress-free and fun!

I like to get to know my clients and who they are. Each client is unique and I like to create a unique experience for them. This is important for me to deliver something so personal and reflecting of who they are and what they want.

I have a Bachelors degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management, I minored in social events and that included courses in weddings. I have attended seminars to learn the history behind cultural customs and traditions.
