Neighborly Heating & Cooling service is a wonderful company and I can't say enough about Michael. I purchased a vacant home as is, at the risk of not being able to check the furnace and air. Neither were working and were very old. Michael came out and found the furnace fan spinning in the wrong rotation and fixed it by reversing some of the wires. He also found that my AC had been overcharged excessively. He fixed that by recovering some of the refrigerant. He also repaired the broken air filter system. The cost was very reasonable at just $79.95 for the service fee and $50.00 to remove the refrigerant. After thinking I was going to need a whole new furnace, this was a relief. I feel Michael was very honest and I didn't have to wait long after my call. I am very pleased with the service I received from Neighborly Heating & Cooling Service and would recommend them to anyone. I already have several times. I am still using both the furnace and air that was repaired and haven't had any issues since.

On 7-3-15 we had a problem with our air conditioner at our rental property. We looked on line and contacted Neighborly Heating and Cooling Service. Mike from Neighborly arrived at our property and quickly determined that the electrical connection outside the house near the air conditioner wasn't working. He replaced the electrical box and the air conditioner was fixed. Mike showed up fast and had the air running again in no time. Thanks Mike and Neighborly Heating and Cooling!

Yes, I would recommend Neighborly Heating and Cooling Service. Our furnace stopped working and Mike from Neighborly came to our house. Our furnace is newer and a bit fancy. Mike traced the problem to what he called a "smart gas valve". He replaced the part and the furnace was repaired. Mike was very professional and I felt he was very honest, as well.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Neighborly Heating & Cooling Service LLC's service only accepts personal checks or cash. The service fee is $79.95 and is only charged once per season for the equipment being serviced, and then remains in effect for that entire heating or cooling season. Total repair cost will be disclosed up-front to the customer prior to any repair being performed. We do not charge by the hour as most companies do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new or returning customers my approach is to answer their questions as thoroughly as possible to hopefully put their mind at ease.
