Introduction: My name is Laura Cole, and I am a dog trainer in the Murphy, Wylie and Sachse area. I have 15 years of experience as a veterinary technician and 3 years as a trainer at Murphy Road Animal Hospital. I currently train at private locations (I come to your home.), and I also teach group puppy classes at the Murphy Road Animal Hospital.
My methods are based on positive reinforcement, and my goal is always to strengthen the bond between you and your dog to help you achieve behavioral success. I am also available to house sit. Contact me.

Laura was very knowledgeable and patient. She worked with me and my puppy one on one and in a social setting. Her love of dogs was evident, she has a passion for what she is doing She was able to answer my training questions and provide useful advice to make myself more attractive to my puppy. Laura was realistic, she advised not to expect instantaneous success, but to practice, practice, practice to reinforce positive behaviors. There was never any talk of negative reinforcement to train the dogs, even though I wanted to punt my puppy's backside a few times. Laura always stressed the bigger picture, small successes through reinforcement would produce the desired results. She always had treats that my puppy loved because I always seemed to bring treats that were less than dynamic. Thanks Laura!

I have a two year old 80 pound Labrador who was totally indulged, spoiled and out of control when Laura started working with us. Within a few months and only two one hour private training sessions, Ollie is a new dog. He and I still have a lot of work to do to accomplish everything on "our list", but with Laura's expert guidance and training Im confident we will get there. Laura is available by phone, text and email at any time if you have questions or if issues come up. I'm looking forward to continuing our work with Laura and I highly recommend her.

I enjoyed this class. We picked up several cool tricks for my dog to do!
