- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to take my time with new customers. I sit down and talk to them face to face getting to know them and letting them get to know me. I try to answer all of their questions and do my best to make them comfortable. Trust is earned not given and I want to do just that, earn their trust. My father treated most of his customers like family and after his passing many of his customers told me that they felt like they had lost a family member. I want that same relationship with my customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have approximately 60 college hours majoring in criminal justice. I have over 500 real hours in leadership training and team building. I've had over 15 years of on the job training and state mandated yearly training in pest control.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My father was in the pest control industry for well over 20 years. He owned and operated a successful pest control company for over 18 years. I worked part-time for him for approximately 15 years. He became very ill and asked me to run his business for him and to take care of his loyal customers. My father passed away on Christmas Eve 2015. Once he passed my father's business license was voided by the state and I had to acquire my Certified Applicator's license and re-apply for a new business license through the state. This was when my wife and I decided to start our own business here in the Dallas area. I still do all I can to take care of my father's customers and look forward to creating trust with new customers. My dad went above and beyond to serve his customers and I employ that same ethic with my customers.
