Solution Based Plumbing and Heating, Inc.
About this pro
ATTENTION TO : Future consumers of the Solution Based Plumbing. Please check the pictures below to see their "perfect A/C installation" First of all the owner (Josh) is lying. He is mentioning that the installation was "perfect". During the installation he was not here in my basement at all and never came to review the bad labor of their incompetent technicians. Unfortunately, they rushed my A/C installation and did not do good a job. The pictures below and the YouTube videos that I posted prove that. They completely messed my ducts. After their installation my ducts are leaking excessive amounts of air. They did not cut my ducts properly therefore there is a huge "gap" - (1" wide and 13" long) on the back of my furnace, and there is a huge "gap" on the side of my furnace. This could be prevented by cutting the ducts correctly. When I shared my concerns with him on the phone "I was threatened by him to suing me if I not pay their bill by full today" - which I paid in cash before they left. They way how they fixed these gaps is just putting a piece of metal sheet underneath and taping it. This is the their "top-notch" installation. As you may know as a nature of the heating and cooling system, the ducts can become cold or hot when the furnace or A/C is on. Especially in the summer time the ducts are getting wet. Since it is getting wet, eventually the tape that they put will come of completely regardless of the quality of the tape. Please check the YouTube video and see how the duct is becoming wet when the A/C is on. He mentioned that they sealed the all the joints of the ducts with a silicon. He is lying, please check the YouTube videos and see how much air is leaking. This will effect the performance of the cooling and heating negatively. I don't event think about my electric bill! Additionally, he is mentioning that I was "harressive/interruptive" to their technicians. They are lying! I was working from home up in my living room. I went to the basement maximum 5 times and just asked just basic questions until they were about to leave my house leaving my ducts with huge gaps!. As a consumer I have a right to have a ask questions and ask for a quality of job. Furthermore, he is mentioning about the clean and neatness. Please check the pictures and see how they left my basement! In addition to that, please check their cabling. Instead of attaching the cable properly they just tied the cable on top of another cable. I am sure that their cabling would not even meet the expectation of the township codes. It can be clearly seen how they rushed my A/C installation. Similarly, they drill a big hole on my basement-wall to pass the pipes from the condenser. They don't even bothered to seal it properly with a concrete filler. Not even with a foam filler. Also, they cut my return in my living room, and they don't even bothered to clean my return afterwards. Inside of the return was full of wood chips and dirt which I had to clean with my own vacuum cleaner. This is their "top-notch, perfect" installation. Again please check the pictures and the YouTube videos for the AIR LEAK! YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1ch485GUlABntBM9C-lH9gJun 1, 2018Verified
Early in the morning my seven year old water heater broke and threw me into a panic. I called my usual guy with no luck, I called my neighbor to get her guy and I left a message hoping he would call asap; it was 7:34 am. By 10 am I was getting frazzled because I needed to have hot water before the day was over so I remembered Thumb Tack; love this site!!! Less than an hour later I had three qoutes on my job. Of course the lower estimates caught my eye and I actually called one left a message but for some reason I was drawn to Solution Based Plumbing and Heating Inc. They came in the highest but it was soooo worth it!!! From the very first call I knew I made the best choice! His wife(Stacey) was very nice and truly concerned about making sure I had hot water before the day was over; great advocate! Josh showed up at the time he said he would and he went above and beyond putting in my new heater. He cleaned up the mess of prior plumbers that took the lazy way out. Installed new shut off valves, gave me quick tutorial on how to get hot water to my third floor radiators and cleaned up! Very professional and sincere; he is now my new plumber for life!! Thank you Stacey, Josh and Solution Based Plumbing Inc!!Sep 6, 2016VerifiedJoshua S.'s reply
