FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My company is smaller and is able to provide a variety of home-improvement services done correctly and timely. Because our overhead is smaller we are able to pass some of that on to our customers. We like to keep things straight forward and simple and there are no hidden costs or fees. We go over all of the aspects involved in your project so you know what to expect. If any portions of the project such as Wright or damage have the potential to increase the price will let the homeowner know that and what it could entail before continuing. At the end of the day we want to return customer that had a great experience before, during, and after their project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I like to go over the project they have in mind and give an accurate estimate including cost and a reasonable timeline. I’m always available on my phone and want to make sure the customer is happy with the estimate, work quality, and overall experience with Cape Cod Pro Handyman Services. Sometimes I will give a rough estimate based on the information conveyed to me by the customer(pictures help)This gives the customer the ability to see if they want to move forward with a more detailed estimate based on the budget they have for the project. Then we can set a start date and sign a contract outlining the project details. Money for materials is something we include in the contract and isn’t uncommon in the industry. Customer satisfaction comes first so good communication thought the project is never a problem. Weather permitting we like to finish our projects within one day of the estimated time given for completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 yrs. experience in building and remodeling. I’ve worked with and learned from some of the best builders around. 3yrs. into running my own business and things are great.
