- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is a complicated thing, especially for custom work; like your portrait session. Your price starts with a session/sitting fee that is used to reserve your session date and time. Once your session is complete we will schedule an in-home Print Consultation where you will place your order for your custom portraits; wall portraits and photo albums. The amount you choose to invest is completely up to you! There is no minimum order amount. Clients in the past have invested $700, while some have invested $3,000+. Whatever your budget is, we will work together to get you the portraits you want.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Your DESIGN APPOINTMENT. This is a 20-30 minute meeting in your home, or at a local coffee shop. The goal is to get to know each other better and get a feel for how you are wanting to display your portraits. This is also the time we will reserve your date and time. It's HIGHLY recommended that there be at least 1 month between your design appointment and your portrait session. Step 2: Your PORTRAIT SESSION. Depending on the type of session you're looking for we will spend between 1-3 hours together. Step 3: Your PRINT CONSULTATION. At the conclusion of your portrait session w will schedule your print consultation. This appointment averages about 1 1/2 hours in the comfort of your own home. This is when you and your family will see your portraits for the first time and when you will place your order for your gorgeous wall portraits and photo albums that will hang on your walls and sit on your bookshelf. Amado will guide you through the entire selection process and help you choose the appropriate presentations for your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constantly enrolling in webinars to stay fresh on different lighting techniques and ways to pose, etc.
