Injuries or medical conditions
I gained 30 pounds when j was pregnant and was determined to get back to my pre pregnancy weight. With the help of AT I was able to reach my goal and then some. AT is one of the best trainers out there, he knows exactly what he is doing. AT is very motivating and won't let you down!Oct 21, 2015
I am actively being trained by AT, prior to starting training AT did an evaluation of my medical and physical conditions and has kept these part of the overall program. He measured the level of commitment I have in reaching my goals and has developed a program for me both short and long term. His pricing is fair, in fact quite reasonable. When training with AT his values and professionalism are confidence inspiring.Sep 21, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is based on what I charge clients on a weekly basis rather than a fee per workout like most trainers do. The average cost to hire a personal trainer is anywhere from $55 to $65 dollars an hour per session. I charge a weekly fee verses an hourly fee because I believe it is more affordable to the client and I only work one-on-one with each client so that I can help them reach their goals. Most of my clients do not like the big gym atmosphere because they feel intimidated or embarrassed in what they are trying to accomplish in the gym. But when they get the personalized one-on-one training they learn how to properly utilize all of the gym equipment and gain self-confidence and learn how to move and workout in a big gym. This is reaffirmed because once they gain the confidence to workout in my gym, I cut them loose and have them go to one of the local big gyms to do their workout and they come back so excited because they feel confident in what they are doing and what they have accomplished.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing that I do is a client evaluation to see if there are any medical issues that need to be addressed and if they are cleared through their Doctor to allow them to enroll in a physical fitness program. If all is well, then I do a physical fitness evaluation to see where they are physically before developing a workout program for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a personal trainer since 1994 and I have been doing contract work through the Department of State overseas training police agencies in physical fitness and defensive tactics. I have also been involved in martial arts since 1973 and have trained students to include adults and young childeren.
