A-1 Professional Movers were a godsend. They were not only professional and thorough in their walk through but went above and beyond. The quote we received was excellent (Florida to Washington State). On moving day they were scheduled to show up at 8:00 am and they were there at 8:00 on the dot. The crew of 3 were very professional and courteous. They made sure to check before taking items to the truck in case it was something that we didn't want to take which we really appreciated. We had already packed our things but they will pack your things for you if you need that service. Because we were catching a flight I did not have time to thoroughly clean...but not to worry....A-1 can set this up as well!! They arranged for the final cleaning as well as power washing of our pool deck and cage. We are selling the house so this was very important. The price was great and the house is sparkling...and they also installed a new garbage disposal we had not been able to get installed before we left...without even being asked! How many companies would do that? We would recommend A-1 Professional movers 1000%!! They are professional, trustworthy and very fair with their pricing. Moving is stressful enough and with A-1 they take a lot of the stress off your shoulders! Thanks A-1!!

What an amazing company!!! I waited until last minute bc we weren't sure on our actual date of closing and from the first email they made me feel comfortable and helped every step of the way! GREAT communication and fast responses! Then the morning of, they were right on time and had a crew of 4! They all worked so hard and weren't lazy AT ALL! We were super thankful for them and will definitely use them again!!!! CALL THEM!! :)

Brian and the A1 Moving team literally saved me!! I had hired another company to ship my car from Orlando to Boston. However, that experience ended up being a complete nightmare - the driver showed up to take my car and he was so rude, inconsistent, and we didn't feel comfortable shipping with them. We had only hours to find an alternative plan and here is where Thumbtack and A1 came in to save the day! Brian was so professional, patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. He was very transparent with the driver's route and stayed in contact every step of the way. They even drove to Orlando the same afternoon to get my car. The best part is you can ship your car and fill it with all of your belongings with no weight restrictions. I was able to make the move to Boston and settle in without a single worry about my car and belongings arriving safely. I would highly recommend this company - I am so grateful for them!

We have all of our staff to go through training program every 90 days . The quarter of each year we have extensive training: customer service, packing, loading unloading and unpacking.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We drove trucks as contractors for years, 1994 we decided to start our own moving company to ensure customer will no longer get ripped off from National Chain Movers are often 15-20% higher.
