Introduction: I founded my company on the idea that my clients would benefit from a talented, knowledgeable architect fully versed in all aspects of a project. From the challenging zoning situation to the non obvious design solution, I seek the unfussy but elegant path. I am a compliance minded veteran of construction sites with a hands-on approach that has instilled an appreciation for the science of building and the associated costs. I specialize in urban housing solutions and unique commercial spaces. I offer a full menu of architectural services from feasibility studies through to the construction phase. I believe that great design can inform your quality of life and I'm energized by the collaboration between informed client and talented designer. Whether you're looking to build a new home, rehab your current dwelling or a re-purpose an existing building, I have extensive experience in these project types. Sustainability and conservation are guiding principles in my work. I remain up to date on materials and methods that serve these goals. I donate my time in my community in serving on my ward's zoning council, the mayor's office for people with disabilities and our neighborhood public school. I am licensed in the State of Illinois since 1998. I have self certification status and registered energy professional designation in the city of Chicago.
