FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we would set up a meeting (either in person, via Skype, or via phone call/ text). Prior to or during the meeting we will go through your photography contract to make sure you don't have any questions, and all elements are agreed upon. This way we both know exactly what to expect. I am transparent with my clients, so if you have any questions I want to make sure they are answered! Upon signing the contract, the retainer is also due. This secures your chosen date. In the upcoming days/ months to your chosen date we discuss details such as outfits, and locations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught. I have and continue to learn by doing. I continue to further educate myself by attending workshops, seminars, webcasts, etc throughout the year. I try to stay current on new techniques, and create the most fluid workflow.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone that fits your style, just as much as they fit your price. Photos are the one thing that will carry memories outside of your mind throughout the years. I can't even explain how meaningful it is to have the chance to share the most special, and current moments in our lives with future generations! Especially when it comes to your wedding day, it can be a blur of happy moments. Having someone there to photograph and document those moments will let you relive that happiness over and over again forever.
