Introduction: Teaching private cello and piano lessons from beginner to advanced level. Style and length of lessons can always be customized depending on students' interest and goal. I am a professional cellist, performing as soloist as well as section cellist in various professional orchestras. I hold a DMA degree in cello performance from Michigan State University. Started playing piano at the age of 5, my minor is piano performance until finishing my undergraduate studies in Taiwan with a teaching certificate in music. I enjoy sharing my passion in music with students. I have been teaching private music lessons in Boston, Houston and currently in Austin. My students are from all different background. Aged from 3 to 68 years old and style varies from classical to pop.

Chi-Hui cares about your joint and muscle healthiness during music practise. She would explain all her instructions in a way that’s very reasonable rather than just asking you to blindly follow what she says. She understand individual differences and would try to guide you towards the best music position that suit the music and yourself. Awesome !
