Introduction: I was born and raised in New Orleans in a family of six kids, so I really had to learn how to cook at an early age. Between my mother, who worked at Copelands and my grandmother, I learned how to cook almost everything Louisiana and Mississippi had to offer and a lot of items straight out of the garden.
