FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When you receive a quote from us, you will know everything that is included and if there are any additional fees and why. Because of this, our initial quote may seem high compared to others. Our quotes will include all equipment needs discussed as well as certification costs, training materials, and location rental fees as well. We do not have hidden fees or other fees that you find out about later on during your training.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For CPR training, we will have a phone/email conversation and ensure that we know exactly what kind of training you want, where you want to be trained, and when you want the class. For SCUBA, we will have an initial in-person (or on video chat) orientation meeting where we will discuss goals, expectations, course schedules, and training requirements. From there we will progress with the training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CPR: We are Emergency First Response Instructors. We have completed their training program as well as having a background of EMS training, CNA training, and pre-nursing coursework. We have been teaching CPR for 3 1/2 years. SCUBA: We have completed numerous courses to achieve PADI Instructor status. Over the last 3 1/2 years, we have worked with over 200 dive students. We have two instructors on staff- and IDC-Staff Instructor and an Open Water Scuba Instructor. Before becoming instructors, we received training in over 10 specialty areas of recreational SCUBA. We make it a point to do at least one training course per year to increase our training and knowledge in SCUBA as well as keep us relevent and up to date on the new equipment available.
