Vance was a pleasure to have around my home helping me to make significant improvements throughout. He repaired and added onto my Deck, remodeled my Master Bathroom by installing a new custom glassed in shower, and customized my closet space with top notch carpentry work. We have utilized Vance Robertson’s excellent, reasonably-cost services, presently affiliated with Carolina Quality Home Construction, for repainting, repairing and renovating our homes in Ellicott City, MD and Frederick, MD during our moves both into and out of them, from November 1987 until our Spring 2018 move to a Burlington, NC senior center. The various repairs and renovations to our homes included both the exteriors and interiors. For example, in our Frederick home, he completely converted a back-yard deck into a glassed-in Sunroom, with screens and sliding door on all sides, an exit ramp and stairs to the yard, wooden base siding, electrical outlets, light fixture, air conditioning, and vinyl floor. Also, in our Frederick home, he converted and renovated half of a 1200-foot unfinished basement into two bedrooms with walk-in closets; a bathroom with shower, toilet, basin with vanity, and tile floor; and a large den including walk-out stairs with doors into the backyard. Mr. Robertson also beautifully landscaped our front and back yards including trees; designed, installed and weather-stained a 6-foot wooden fence with latched gates around the perimeter of our back yard; and repaired our driveways and steps due to weather damage and ground shifts. He was always willing to work odd hours to help us meet deadlines. When we sold our homes, they passed inspections and increased our investments. In addition, using his previous experience as a supervisor with a noted moving company, Mr. Robertson even rented a moving van and safely moved many of our belongings, including furniture, at very reasonable charges, during both our Frederick and Burlington moves.

I have known Vance for about 25 years and recommend him without hesitation. He has done yard work (edging, weeding, mulching, planting), power washing (siding, deck, stone walks), deck repairs, painting and electrical work for me. He takes great pride in everything he does, and he does everything meticulously, completely and successfully. His fees always are extremely competitive. It is a pleasure to work with him.

I purchased an older home and CQHC replaced the existing windows and doors with a beautiful, high quality product that looks amazing. He was very professional and provided such a great experience with those items that I had him to come back later and replace the flooring. Mae want every exsperience to be a great one. I would ask questions about your comfort zone with having new people in and around your home. What's the best schedule for you and are there any special requests that should be addressed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for structural maintenance, fabrication and paint in the air force. I have also done plenty of training under builders and contractors.
