- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by the lesson length-Charlotte Betry Music Studio currently offers 30/45/60 minute lessons, however, 45 and 60 minute lessons are encouraged for students 8+ to maximize their learning opportunities. For students not traveling to the instructor there is an additional travel fee incorporated into the weekly lesson tuition.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 30 minute trial lesson for all prospective students. It is important that the student finds a teacher able to cater to their individual learning needs prior to committing to regular lessons. Once a students has gone through the trial process and has signed up for lessons, it may still take a few lessons to determine the proper method books, repertoire books, etc but this process ensures a tailored learning approach for each student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from California State University, Northridge Summa Cum Laude and a Master of Music in Flute Performance from California State University, Northridge with Distinction.
