Isiah is a nice man. Company appears disorganized re scheduling and communication. Hired them but had to cancel after no shows, cancellations and postponements.May 19, 2017Ashley B.'s reply
I apologize for the miscommunication, our company laptop was stolen out of our truck. All of our client meeting and scheduling was lost. We apologize again for the inconvenience. Thank you for using Thumbtack. You seemed like a nice guy too, best of luck to you!
Izaiah And Ashley were fantastic! Very detail oriented and Izaiah had positive communication through the entire process. Great work for a reasonable price, you pay what you get for, and Clean Planet Construction is a must hire.Jun 8, 2016Verified

I hired Izaiah at Clean Planet Construction to convert an old soundproof music room back into a bedroom. It was 3 layers of a room inside of the room....Not an easy task. After removing the MDF and foam Izaiah informed me that there was quite a bit of water damage in the ceiling from the AC vent leaking condensation between the boards. It was kind of horrifying and not a pleasant discovery. Izaiah got me a quote to replace the ceiling, repair all of the damage, paint the entire room, and to repair all damaged wood in minutes. His quote was professional, itemized, easy to understand, and totally fair considering how big the project had become. Izaiah was great with communication and his team killed it! The room looks brand new! Izaiah and his team devoted 100% of their attention to our project, and even worked a couple of double shifts to get the job done on time. I am thrilled with Izaiah and will most likely be hiring him for a extensive remodel in the near future. I highly recommend Clean Plant Construction for any project. Izaiah and his team are good, honest people.Jun 9, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I gather the most information I can about a project so I can accurately estimate. I'm patient and listen well, because I know that clients have specific wants and needs to consider the project a success. My prices are competitive and fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet up, there's something special about a face to face meeting. I like to buy my clients a cup of coffee, sit down with them and write out everything they need/want to have done. I want to make sure we understand what a successful project looks like to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was unhappy with my employment at a local retail store so I made a decision to broaden my horizons. I quit my job and worked side by side with a carpenter for a year. We would mostly install doors, install base board and install window seals, build custom closets and a variety of other things. I moved from carpentry to demolition work, mostly gutting housed that were destroyed by water, then started repairing drywall. I tried my hands building fences, decks, and many other miscellaneous projects. It wasn't until I started painting that I really found my nitch. It became something that I loved to do, it relaxes me and gives me peace. Now I continue to learn and grow as I've done a variety of projects including; popcorn texture removal, drywall hanging, wall cut outs, texturing, ect.
