FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It’s very simple, just 30¢ cents per square foot. Less than 450 sq ft is a $110.00 minimum. It gets complicated if we’re not moving beds. We don't charge for hallways and walk-in closets! To figure sq ft is easy. Length multiplied by Width. If your room is 13 feet by 10 feet that is 10 x 13 = 130 sq ft. (If you don’t have a tape measure, use your feet by stepping one foot exactly in front of the other!) 130 x $.30 = $39.00 for that room.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much info as I can, because then I can give a more accurate price. Also, it helps to know what kind of stains we’re removing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a IICRC master with advanced carpet cleaning, odor, stain removal, water restoration as my advanced training. I go to at least two three classes a year. I usually pick stain removal classes and odor removal to stay on top of what's new and improved in the industry. I'm working on becoming an instructor to teach new carpet cleaners proper procedures. I also do inspections for manufactures on new carpet warranties to resolve problems primarily created by untrained carpet cleaners.
