I'm very happy to say that some of the shots in this site's slide show are of the bathroom remodel Dan did for us. From first to last, he showed himself the total pro, working out designs according to our initial ideas, then doing a meticulous job of flooring, tiling, lighting, plumbingand building a vanity. His price was right on the money for the elaborate and painstaking work required. I could say equally good things about his floor installation in our dining room, or the myriad small tasks he has undertaken. His is a five star operation only because there is no higher ranking. We contracted Dan to replace our back deck/porch and we could not be any happier! Dan is an honest professional who took his time to evaluate our needs and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. A good friend and neighbor recommended dan, I'm so grateful she did, I had water damage on my living room ceiling that had been going on for quite some time, dan accessed the reason for the problem first, then plastered, painted, and put new trim where it was needed. Everything is beautiful, he is a perfectionist. I'm grateful he took the project on.

I had to replace my door quickly in my apartment in the city. I tried this site out to see if anyone could help me out on short notice. Dan gave me an accurate quote (I compared it with Home Depot) and was able to get to my place within 24 hours of the request. He brought all that he needed based on the little information I gave him and did a great job. He even went the extra mile to come back and finish up my interior frame, which wasn't necessarily part of the job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
After what I thought was just a chance decision, it turns out that the trades, and carpentry in particular, have a history in my family.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I gutted a basement bathroom, expanded the shower, installed nearly 1000 4"x4" individual ceramic tiles, and built a custom vanity for long-time clients and friends. They could not have been happier, which, in turn makes me even more happy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Quality and craftsmanship go a long way in ensuring your overall happiness with a contractor.
