- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my niche, there is little in the way of formal certificates or license programs. I continually attend seminars, webinars, and read constantly to keep current on investigative concepts and methods and especially monitor changes in federal, state and other local equal employment statutes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned that my gifts are discerning and helping. I have respect and concern for the rights and needs of employees and employers, and believe that employees should be treated fairly. I am happy to protect employers from frivolous or overblown claims.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not expect your internal HR employees to be objective enough or to have the time to investigate a workplace complaint in a timely or thorough enough manner.
