I had mr. Trowbridge owner of W.I.T construction do a remodel of several portions of my rather large home. He was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of concern, professional and highly receptive to our special needs. I have also done work with John and consider him a friend and my go to guy for a variety of projects in the construction industry. I highly recommend him and look forward to furthering my personal expertise as we venture through projects.

I have a 3000 sq ft home and a 1400 sq garage. John did an excellent job painting the exterior of both buildings. He was efficient, honest and great at communicating with me as I was out of state during the entire process. John sent progress pictures and kept in touch via txt and phone. Overall, it was a great experience and fantastic work.

My relationship with WIT construction began about a month ago, with the initial project of painting the garage and install shelving in the garage of a newly purchased home. I closed on the home at about 1 PM and the first coat of paint was completed that evening. The shelves were constructed and installed within 36 hours. I was able to move my stuff into a brightly painted space and start organizing immediately on moving in day. As moving in progressed, other projects emerged and I moved forward with WIT with each one: install a new gate in the fence, build a small platform for my small hot tub, and design and build a linen closet. All projects were completed in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost using appropriately priced materials, and at high quality. John has years of experience in construction, and no job seems too big or too small for him to address. He has saved me a ton of time during the move in phase. I will continue to use him for those important projects that come up from time to time. Honest and ethical business

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I moved to Alaska the day I graduated high school and found a job working on the Alaska pipeline. Found that I had a knack for construction and stayed with it for the next 40 years.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The more information I have from the customer about the project the better for me. It also saves the customer money to have done some research and made decisions about what specific fixtures or colors or tiles they wish to have installed.
