Chef J was professional from the moment I contacted her. She was responsive and so easy to work with. I hired her for a private birthday dinner for 2 and the food did not disappoint. My husband is picky with his food and every single bite was delicious from the appetizer to entree and dessert. I highly recommend her - she’s absolutely worth it. She asked what time we wanted to eat and she came early, and prepared. She cleaned after the meal and also put the food we couldn’t finish in containers. Speaking of - there was plenty food provided. I will definitely use her services again. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Chef J and her coworker were amazing! From the initial phone call for planning out what I’m looking for, to the menu choices given to the night of the dinner- amazing! The food? Phenomenal and the presentation was great. There was a confusion with the charcuterie meat and Chef J was able to remove it and we had a replacement that went well with the spread. Everyone loved the meal and we look forward to working with her again.

Chef J put together an amazing last minute (within 48 hours) meal for a surprise dinner for my sister which included a lot of allergies and restrictions. From my sister: “legit she was so kind, warm vibes, GREAT food, but also we’ve done these before where everything takes forever and they were really great- said they would arrive at a certain time, and food would be ready at a certain time and that’s exactly what happened I would highly recommend this team to anyone. Legit delish food.“ can’t wait to hire her and her team again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $85/hour but, I am also willing to create a flat-rate, within reason.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to meet up with a client either in person or over the phone to go over in detail their needs, wants and specifications. Once we have settled on a menu, budget, timing & duration of service needed, my client will then sign a Terms Of Agreement contract based on the logistics we've settled upon and then its off the creating magic in the kitchen.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Culinary Institute Of New York in New Rochelle, NY with my Associated Degree majoring in Culinary Arts and a minor in Hospitality Management. I've also secured a Food Protection License from New York State ensuring that I am fully trained in keeping my clients safe from food related harm.
