Introduction: I'm a professional chef who has been in business for over 13 years. I cater all kinds of events, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, and more. I take pride in providing the best service and the best food. I source high-quality, fresh ingredients and use my own recipes for my seasonings to ensure an amazing culinary experience. I've worked as a celebrity chef, and also have my own cooking show, "Cooking with a Star." Past corporate clients include Amazon, Green Sky, and Merchante Solutions. I've done events all over the country and the world, such as the Bahamas, the Carribean, and London, England. No matter my client, I provide the same level of top service and quality at reasonable prices. My specialty is cultural dishes -- Cuban, Carribean, Ethiopian, and Portugese. I would like to praise all 5 areas of work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value and punctuality. An amazing service with delicious food. The entire team is a force. I highly recommend to anyone. The event catered was a dinner for the 4 cities of Henry County and at minimum 7 other agencies we conduct business with. Everyone raved about the fare and service! After researching in various catering companies, I made the decision to hire Cooking with A Star, LLC (Chef Kendra owner and operator), and now I have no doubts that was the best decision I could have ever made. Cooking with A Star, LLC, was simply amazing. Everything from the food to the staff. Chef Kendra, was our contact and she was super responsive and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Chef Kendra is an awesome Caterer! Not only is she an amazing talented professional, but Chef Kendra has a great personality. She treated my finance and I like family. We met her in July 2019 and we booked her to cater our Wedding Reception but, due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule for this year, June 19, 2021. Chef Kendra was incredibly flexible with the food tastings, and let us try food on multiple occasions to make sure we had the menu we wanted. The food for a wedding is one of the most expensive ticket items, so you want to be sure you know what specific things your money is going to. She worked with us to keep the cost within our budget, but never once sacrificed quality of food or service. Chef Kendra is very straightforward and transparent with her pricing and did not have any hidden fees or extra charges to sneak in there at the end. No ridiculous corking fees, cake-cutting fees, etc. Furthermore, our menu consisted of barbeque meat balls (cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres) Salad, Rolls, Roasted Herb Chicken, Honey Glazed Salmon, California blend vegetables, baked Macaroni and cheese, and Freshly Squeezed Homemade Lemonade. The food was exceptional, and all of the serving staff was polite and efficient. It was refreshing to have someone reliable and experienced to handle such an important aspect as food. Lastly, I definitely appreciate her work ethic and I definitely recommend others to hire Cooking with A Star, LLC for your upcoming event. You will not be disappointed at all and your guest will enjoy all of the food at your event.

Cooking With the Stars treated me as if I was a star. She catered my wedding which style Grace and professionalism. She went above and Beyond. She also did things that was not in our contract that I asked her to do at the very last moment . She made me very happy and she did it with a smile. I suggest if you looking for someone to cater any type of event with wonderful food great service and love in their heart Ms. Kendra is the one.

Kendra and her team were amazing and absolutely exceeded expectations! Kendra and her team were very professional, welcoming and all around just the BEST. Kendra even came into my bridal suite and helped one of my bridesmaids with her dress! My point is you can tell she is a very genuine person and wants to make your event very special. I would hire her and her team ANYTIME.

Kendra catered my promotion and from the very beginning she was superb in every way. She listened to my requests, offered suggestions and took care of everything. The food, service and responsiveness that Kendra provided were top notch and really made the event first class and one to remember. All of the guests loved the food.. The favorite by far were the meatballs but the chicken, macaroni and cheese and green beans were a hit as well..I cannot give Kendra a stronger recommendation. She is phenomenal!

I am proud to provide high quality at reasonable prices. I want to create the best menu for your budget and I'm open to adjustments. Let's set up a call and we can discuss what you need.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we discuss the menu and your venue. Then we agree on an estimate and make sure your date is set. We charge an initial deposit (25% of the total balance) and charge the rest upon the event's completion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide catering for events with 50 - 1500 guests. I have worked weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate celebrations and more. Past clients include Amazon, Green Sky and Merchante Solutions. I have also worked as a celebrity chef.
