Introduction: I have been tutoring mathematics since 1996. I have tutored all ages from middle school to adult, and all Math levels from pre-algebra to calculus. I have taught upper level math in high school, and I have been teaching math at the college level since 2008.
Teaching and tutoring math has been a very rewarding experience for me. I enjoy working with students of all ages, backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities. I always strive to provide an effective and comfortable learning experience for each student.

My son was taking trigonometry and precalculus as a 10th grader and having a lot of problems. Mr. Wood helped my son bring his grade up from a D to a B- in only a few months. Mr. Wood is very knowledgeable in all different areas of math, and this is why we chose him to help us. He was always right on time and always came with prepared lessons for my son. He was able to show my son multiple different ways of working a problem. I highly recommend Mr. Wood as a math tutor for any level of student.

Professor Wood is an excellent math teacher and tutor. He explains concepts very clearly and teaches them in a way that is easy to understand. He also does a good job explaining any questions that may come up. It is obvious that he truly cares about the success of his students.

Professor Wood was extremely helpful when he taught my statistics class at California Baptist University. He is very understanding when you reach a concept that does not click with you at first. He finds different ways to break material down so that you may grasp the ideas. If you struggle with math I would highly recommend you meet with Mr. Wood.
