I use to live in the same neighborhood as David so it was a no brainer to take lessons from him. He is a very talented guitarist and composer. He is very patient and breaks things down where they are easily understood. I highly recommend him.

I started taking lessons from David as a kid back in 98' and stuck with him all the way through my teenage years. He was great at explaining things and was always very patient with me even though I was probably one of the worst students. He gave me a solid musical foundation that really went beyond guitar. Opened up a whole world of music for me. Best teacher ever!

Dr. Mitchell was my first experience with university level music theory. He absolutely exceeded my expectations of how I would receive the information he presented. A phenomenal teacher, and a wonderful communicator. I would study under him again if given the opportunity.

Really enjoyed having Dr. Mitchell as my guitar teacher in college. He's extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand. He's also a super patient teacher...I needed that! Highly recommend him!
