FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not really. Every person, every event and every day brings different to the table. I work closely with my customers to give them only exactly what is wanted. Saves money for them and time and money for DawnsMart.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We most importantly listen to our customers so we are sure to offer them exactly what they want and need. I go with the premise "the guest is always right" and when it's their money being spent, how could it possibly be any other way?!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a teenager for a food truck in mid 70a...learned so much about money handling and customer service then. I worked my way to the grill when I turned 18 and I knew cooking was were I wanted to be!! I worked for a restaurant called Sambos in late 70a early 80a where I worked my way to manager of one of our resturants. Soon after I was getting comfortable and loving this role, that company had changed names to Seasons and then within 2 years the company sadly closed its doors. I then went to work called Pillsbury...they owed a chain of resturants, one called Bennigans.from 1983 to 1996 I made Bennigans my home! I started as a waitress and over the years worked my way up to manager and all the many responsibilities that goes along with that title. The company put me through classes, school and health department training for food handling. I loved my job, I was very good at my job and I hated leaving but a troubled pregnancy forced me to have to say good bye. After the birth of my daughter, I lost my husband to a horrible car accident. Within 2 years of this I opened my own bar and grill called MnMs. After 2 years of this I took some much needed time off and I then decided, after being approached by family, to go into the catering, party planning with my daughter's. I love being close to the girls on a daily basis and I love sharing my knowledge, passing it on for the next generation.
