Julie was great to work with. We found her when we were completely lost on design and found the tile stores overwhelming. She helped us design 4 bathrooms in our house. She found out our style and helped us out by going to the tile store for us and bringin samples to us. She saved us lots of time snd helped us come up with a design we love. She also laid out the cabinet color, paint color and countertops design. She made sure everything was in budget. She was always willing to take the time to respond to MANY emails. For years I wanted to get someone to help me decorate. I finally took a chance and found JW Décor on Thumbtack and I could not be more pleased. Julie carefully listened to what I was looking for and completely transformed my adult daughter's bedroom. I felt like I was on HGTV when I saw what she had done. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Each job is unique, so pricing depends on the scope of the job. My fees may be an hourly rate or a flat rate. I discuss options with each client and proceed with an agreement that meets their needs and budget. I am very flexible in working with my client's personal situation and goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer an initial consultation to get to know the customer and their goals. I can get to know their likes and dislikes and personal style. During the consultation I offer suggestions to improve the space. The next step is to determine budget and make a plan. I can provide a quote for services based on the initial consultation. Most of all, I enjoy getting to know my customers and developing a plan together that makes them feel confident and comfortable with my services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a certified interior designer/stylist through ICOES, an international organization. I am continually taking classes and doing research to stay current with design trends and improve my expertise.
