While giving me an estimate for several services (including running a new line from my breaker box to a sump pump), Jerry showed me a wire in my crawlspace that looked like it had been cut or burnt through to the insides. There was solder under the wire and it was obvious that when I had a leak fixed several months back, the plumber leaked solder onto that wire and burnt it almost completely through. When I pulled it to me, it blew a breaker out! Jerry got me out of the crawlspace and proceeded to repair the line. He also fixed a loose outlet for me in the kitchen that was one of the items that was on my list to have him fix. He did not charge me for either. The rest of his estimate was fair and complete. I was very impressed with the way he handled himself, the situation and my home. The only bad thing about my experience was that he was too booked up to schedule me that week. He is scheduled to come out next week and I feel confident that he will deliver what is promised. I think I have found a new handyman!

Jerry and his son prepped and painted 2 rooms in my house. They did it in a reasonable amount of time and were very neat and clean. They removed and replaced all electrical outlet covers and were very easy to work with. Jerry made some suggestions on colors for other parts of the house and also touched up some of the older trim for free. I would use him again. Very happy with the work.

I'm so happy with the customer service! The owner, Jerry, came immediately to our house to help us with an electrical problem. We lost power to a large portion of the house, but it appeared that none of the breakers had popped off. After further research online, we called Delaney Home Service. Jerry tested our breaker box and traced the problem to the GFI breakers in the bathroom. Since that was off, all other lines tied to it remained off. Now we know to check there first if this happens again! All Jerry charged us for was a service call. We couldn't be happier to have found a knowledgeable and honest handyman!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a "Handyman for the Day" price of $379. This is for 8 hours total of work including consultation time. There are some exclusions. Other than that, our prices are bid by the scope of work performed and the general time it takes to complete.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A telephone consultation discussing expectations and scope of work to be performed, setting a time/date to start and general pricing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Both residential and commercial accounts. We have commercial floor cleaning machines if needed and supply all of our own chemicals. Most of our home improvement work is residential.
