Daniel is great, he is easy to work with and is very knowledgeable. His techniques are perfect for how I like to interact and work with my dog. I have had dogs all my life, but found myself requiring a little bit of help with my new rescue dog Dutchess who has displayed some aggression with unfamiliar dogs when walking. We first worked on the walk to fine tune it and then tackled introduction to dogs. I am happy to report she is doing great. She is still learning her manners and we are working to get her to be a lady, but i love the progress that I have seen so far. Daniel encourages questions and genuinely cares about what he does.

    About this pro

I love what I do and it shows. I am a people person and adore all animals, especially DOGS. I have seen other trainers who are average with the knowledge of training but are not good at teaching that knowledge to the client. I have great communication skills as a result of being in sales and training dogs throughout my life. I have worked with a countless # of dogs since childhood. My FATHER was a DOG TRAINER and I assisted him from 13 to 19 years of age before I joined the Navy. I have always been involved in dog training in some capacity. I fuel my passion for dogs and giving back to the community by volunteering at dog rescues such as Ark of San Juan, GSROC, and ICARE. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I use the (Training Methods) necessary for each unique dog. I work with my client's lifestyle and observe the dogs breed characteristics to get maximum and customized results. I have found with over the 35 plus years experience that my clients want a training strategy that works for their lifestyle. As a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and IAABC, I stay abreast of new training techniques and education. Navy Veteran who proudly served aboard the USS Constellation, Aircraft Carrier, Weapons Handler- Missile Tech I love to see peoples expressions and attitude when they accomplish training their dog with me and getting that special bond from their dog. If it was possible I would have about 50 dogs in my pack. The reward I get when I finish rehabilitating a dog that has aggression issues and he/she does a 360% turn around is unmeasurable! It amazes me how different each dog has a unique personality. For me, this is not work it's my LOVE and Passion. Dogs give you unconditional love and I get to experience it every day. It is the best job on the planet!!

      Q & A

      • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are $50 to $140 per session depending on the program and type of Service. Typical training sessions are 1 hour. The 1st session is about 1 1/4 hours. I give discounts for Rescue dogs and Veterans. Call for a free phone consultation. We take cash, check, and Pay Pal. I do not claim to be one of the cheapest Trainers, only one of the Best!
      • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss on the phone general information on what their goals are, dog information, and expectations. I will answer all their questions and give an outline of my training methods. I give written details of our training session and the methods applied after each session.
      • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work with dogs every day, training, walking, doing Agility, or working with GSROC and ICARE dog Rescues. The best education is hands-on training from an expert! I have trained with my father,(A PRO TRAINER), as a young teenager and young adult then trained on my own over the years, full & part time. I keep my certification valid with continued education credits. I am up to date on the latest training techniques and education from The Association of Professional dog Trainers. I have over 20k hours of hands on K-9 Training and Education. I am certified with the Pet Care Institute. I have trained with Master trainers such as Vlade the Russian dog Wizzard and Michael Ellis.
