Introduction: Dr. Elena Aleksandrova is a lifelong musician. She has always loved to teach and perform the classic music. Ms. Elena's experience is in all aspects of music performance, including piano classic technique. Teaching piano is a large part of her career, as well as working with singers as accompanist. She graduated from the famous Saint Petersburg's Conservatory of Music with honor, where Elena received her master's. Before that, she studied solo piano, theory, harmony and children's education in Kirovograd School of Music. In 2009, she was invited to teach students in the oldest Russian University of Theater Arts - GITIS, where she earned her Ph.D. in performing arts.
Teaching Philosophy
Ms. Elena really loves to work with kids. She helps students to start thinking musically. As a Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) member, she has all possibilities to participate in MTNA national conference, MTNA certification program, and association leadership opportunities at the local and state levels. State and local festivals will be readily available to her students.
