FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The total price for staging depends on the size of the rooms, the amount of furniture (if needed), and number of hours it would take to finalize the project. If you still have questions left unanswered then please feel free to contact me and I will help you in any way I can.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts out with a 60-90 minute consultation in which I go through the house or spaces that need attention with the homeowners or real estate agent. I take measurements, pictures, note lighting, and determine what furniture (if needed) will go in the space. At times there are conflicts of scheduling so to prevent any delay with the listing process I also can give quotes based on pictures of the space. If we all decide to go with a quote from pictures then I need 3-4 pictures of each space to ensure that you are getting the best and most accurate quote for your listing. Once I gather all my information I give the client a grand total for my services which includes the time spent on final staging day, off-site hours, all decorative accessory rental, delivery and pick up, furniture rental (if needed), and photos (if needed).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained and certified by Home Staging Resource, the first and one of the only accredited courses by the Real Estate Staging Association. I am also an active RESA member.
