Introduction: Katie Day grew up playing competitive sports such as soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. She went to college in Florida at the University of Tampa and moved to Houston in 2011 for work. She joined F3 Cross Training in 2012, a functional fitness gym founded by Sean Lester, MHP. F3 Cross Training offers group fitness classes in a warehouse setting in East Downtown Houston. Whether you are looking to get off the couch, get in shape, or train for a competition or race, F3 is the place for you! Shortly after starting at F3, Katie found that the continuous challenges and variety in programming were far more interesting and produced more results than running on a treadmill or heading to the gym for hours. As a coach, Katie enjoys helping individuals reach their personal goals and accomplish things they did not know were possible. She coaches group fitness classes at F3 Cross Training and also offers private personal training for clients looking for more individualized attention. Customized packages can be made to fit your needs and budget.

F3 Cross Training is an amazing place to workout, whether you are just starting to get back in the swing of things or you've been working out on your own. The environment is very inviting and friendly, and they always have events going on to get to know everyone at the gym. The WODs are challenging but never impossible to complete. I've been working out here since July, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Katie Day has helped me in many ways with building muscle and toning. She takes the time to demonstrate the proper form while also correcting your form throughout the workout. She always encourages you and pushes you to make you better. I would highly suggest F3 and Katie to anyone!

I love the gym and the people!!Always a good workout and coaches are great and very knowledgable. Great community of members, with fun activities planned regularly. I would recommend to anyone!

I joined the gym about 2 weeks after I moved to Houston and it's been amazing. I think Sean, Ryan, Katie and all the trainers do an excellent job running the gym and have really developed a sense of community. The work outs are fun and extremely challenging and they push you to be better. After 3 months, I really feel like I'm in the best shape of my life and still have a lot to go and a lot to challenge myself to. I can't emphasize enough how there's a real sense of community at this gym and how I've made some really great friends. It was definitely the best decision since I moved to Houston to join this gym!

The instructors, Katie, Ryan, and Sean, promote a safe, welcoming environment to workout. Very approachable and open to questions it is a fantastic Gym to get an unique, total body workout.

I needed help with my Conditioning for my Obstacle Course Series. Katie brought me into her F3 Cross Training Gym and pushed me to the max every session with a mix of Pylometrics, Running, Stability Training and Overall Strength.

    Pricing varies depending on commitment per week and duration of training. All payments are made up-front.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The typical process for working with a new customer would be an initial meeting to understand what they are looking for. Once we determine what goals are important to you, we can start training multiple times per week in a personal training OR group fitness setting (or combination of the two). I will work with a new client to make a schedule that fits both of our needs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I hold a CrossFit Level 1 certification, and have been training and leading group fitness classes at F3 Cross Training since 2014.
