About this pro
I am giving Eric 5 stars for an exterior house painting job. My house was built in 1948 with lots of detail and issues that needed repair and attention. His bid was not the lowest, but he was the most knowledgeable. He has an excellent eye for the smallest detail and addressed them all, even some dry rot. He has good general knowledge of general contracting in addition to wonderful painting skills. He was on the job every day and his helpers were excellent. I am completely happy with Eric's job. The house looks great and everything was well cleaned up. Yup...5 stars!Jun 20, 2018Verified
Did an excellent job. They color-matched all my oak cabinets to match what was already in the kitchen. They worked with me in painting molding I had hung myself and in painting a set of cabinets that was veneer instead of real wood, and was difficult to get paint to adhere to. This makes up for them taking longer to start the job than first expected. Would hire again!May 28, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I give a job estimate in person, when I go to look at the desired work needing to be accomplished. Generally, I'm about 60 cents a square foot for basic brush and roll painting, everything else is more based on skill set involved, and materials needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Schedule an estimate and talk with the potential client to get a feel for one another and to see what the client is looking for. Submit a bid proposal. Then, walk client through the contracted obligations and make sure they understand and feel comfortable with the contract they are signing. Complete contracted tasks on time and on budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?10+ years of on the job safety and skill training . Continual training via local community college courses including business and trade classes.
