- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I need to charge $0.53 per mile for travel costs. Also, when it comes to lawn mowing, I will access the appropriate county assessors web site, and obtain a copy of the property card. With that I can verify the square footage of the mowing yard by subtracting the square footage of the (home, garage, driveway, shed, deck, patio, and other stuff) from the total lot square footage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take time to introduce myself, and learn if the customer has any specific directions or goals for the finished work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a 2-day 3B Turf Pesticide class at Purdue University in the Lafayette Indiana area. I have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at Ivy Tech in Industrial Maintenance, and Technical Certificates in Fluid Power, Electrical, and Maintenance. I volunteer with various Habitat for Humanity (LaPorte, Porter, and NWI), as well as Rebuilding Together projects. I do repair work at my Ma's home, my own home, and at Church.
