Neil responded within minutes and was very willing to be flexible with our already crazy schedule! We are looking forward to working with him!

Neil brought everything he needed to play a set at my bar. He showed up early and was set up well before he was set to start playing. His music style is brilliant and well performed as he loops in more and more layers. Some of the best music I have heard from a solo performer. Highly satisfied with performance.

About this pro

I teach more than just the basics of guitar playing. These involve technique and style that they don't show you in music theory or "standardized" guitar courses. Much of this comes from my over 40 years of live and recorded performance. I find my artists (students) sound more professional and stand out from many others when they learn this way. In addition, I encourage my artists to choose the songs that THEY want to learn! I believe the more fun you can have while learning, the better (and faster) you'll get to the next level! The most fun for me is seeing (and hearing) the results of our efforts together...the artists and I. We're a team, you know....

    Q & A

    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
If you're smart as a musician, you NEVER stop learning. There's always a new artist, or song, or sound, coming along. I keep up with a lot in the music industry. I'm always trying to find out how that guitarist, or that producer, got THAT SOUND. And then make that sound myself!
    • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You've got to be on the same "wavelength" with your instructor. The two of you need to feel comfortable together. It's a team effort, so if it feels like you could have your instructor on the same team as you, whether it's a sports team, or business, or whatever, then it will likely be a good fit.
