Gina's Doggie Den/Professional Canine Services
Introduction: GINA'S DOGGIE DEN offers three major types of canine services:
TRAINING - I provide private dog training in your home or will privately train a dog in my home for a period of time depending on level of skills to be taught. Dog can come to my home daily or reside with me during this time. Both options require at least three additional training sessions with pet parents in dog's home to educate family as to how to reinforce training. Training spans from puppy to advanced levels of obedience including preparation for CGC (AKC's Canine Good Citizen test) and can include basic problem solving such as housebreaking, crate training, barking, counter surfing, mouthing, jumping, etc.
DOG SITTING - DAY CAMP and/or CAGELESS BED & BREAKFAST (short-/long-term overnight accomodations) in my home as well as dog sitting/house-sitting in yours. B&B reservations are limited to no more than three overnight guests. All guests receive day-long personalized TLC including supervised play and exercise, kiddie pool in warmer weather, ball toss, tumbling, running and chasing, tug-of-war, etc. as well as neighborhood and MetroPark walks. There are optional opportunities for one-on-one obedience training and/or customized socialization activities such as nursing home visits or visits with an elderly neighbor, pet supermarket, etc. Overnight guests receive a bedtime zoom groom massage!
DOG VALET SERVICE to veterinarian, groomer, pet supermarket, etc.

One of the best things I could have done for my dogs is put them in the Doggie Den! I know they are loved and cared for just as I would. I have a Sheltie and a Great Pryenees mix. Not many people would welcome such a large dog into their home, so I feel very fortunate that both my dogs are in a home setting when I am away on vacation. Both dogs are always happy to see Gina, which tells me they feel loved and are comfortable with her. During their last visit at Gina's, she also worked with our big guy on the "come" command. He faithfully comes to us from outside now, which is very nice when you are standing with the door in winter! I will always be thankful we have such a wonderful place for our "furbabies" when we are away. I will not have to worry that they are happy, and well cared for in my absence.

I know Gina from Pet Smart and saw how well she trained dogs and pet parents. Gina was very caring and atentitive to all their needs. When I needed pet sitting services, I knew she would be able to care for my kids. Gina is very through with knowing each of my pets needs and how to care for them. My dog and one of my cats have special needs and she made sure they received that special care. She took time to hang out with them and play too! She gave me updates with every visit! I have used other people in the past but felt they were more about making money than caring for my pets. Gina goes outside the box by bringing in my mail, emptying garbage, shoveling snow off my porch, washing food bowls, adjusting the temp in my house and loving my kids. Gina is fully trained to admimister meds, and had no problem doing it for my dog. I know if one of my pets needed emergency care, she will not hesitate to take care of it! I trust Gina with my pets and in my home! I am so thankful to be able to rely on such a caring person that has such knowledge and ability to care for the things that I love the most, my pets! I am so happy to have a pet caretaker that I trust and love!

Excellent experience. Gina did a great job walking us through potty training our dogs.
She really knows her stuff and the dogs relate well to her.
Gina also does a great job with children. She has a former teaching background. As a result, she can really get the dog training points across to the children as well as the owners.
Would highly recommend a few sessions with Gina.

We took our wild and crazy, chocolate lab puppy Lakota to Gina's puppy training classes. It was our last hope.When we finished the classes we had a well behaved, well-mannered, little lady. all of which we owe to Gina Dias. She is also a sitter and we have used her many times.
