So far so goodApr 22, 2018Verified
The patience, experience and professionalism Greg Korn demonstrated, enabled me to accomplish the goal to successfully build out my building. Guiding me through the maze of city bureaucracy and the confusing demands to gain a building permit, was invaluable. His ability to dissect the tedious and complex circumstances is an incredible qualification he calmly utilized. Gathering additional architects and contractors expressed his willingness and ability to work with others to acquire the best results for me. Because of his suggestions and adjustments along the way, I could provide the detailed plans the city was looking for as they passed the plan check.Mar 15, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Fees range from 8-12% of construction costs, depending on the services provided. Typically schematic design fees are hourly, and construction documentation is a flat fee as a percentage of construction costs. Optional services include Authorities Interface (Building Department meetings, etc), Bidding and Negotiation, and Construction Administration, and may be hourly or flat-fee based.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In the case of typical design project for a commercial building or interior, the process is as follows: First, the Client and I meet in person in a complimentary on-site consultation where we get to know one another and develop a better understanding of the project requirements and the site itself. Shortly thereafter, the Client receives a Proposal summarizing the project scope, services to be provided, fees and reimbursables, and terms of the agreement. Following execution of the proposal, we commence the first stage of the project, the field inspection.
