FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
its depends on the size of the job. Handyman work is usually an hourly deal plus materials. Very large jobs, i usually charge by the square foot on individual projects. And most others jobs, its estimated time + materials. I also usually always provide itemized quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by telling them a bit about me and my business as to familiarize myself to them. Then, talk specifically about what they want out of the project. I then usually follow that up with measurement, and then a reference sheet of repeat customers. And i will typically then ask them if they would like to see any photos of recent projects and show them some before and after pictures, and explain the processes involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the Construction industry for over 10 years. Most of my education and training comes from experience and keeping well informed in industry standards and practices, as well as state of the art products and new innovations.
