FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a professional photographer after doing it as a hobby for a long time. Many times I would be at an event and take pictures and the people would use my photos for their web sites and printed materials. I gradually took more photography courses and decided to go pro. Becoming professional was a gradual process for me since the equipment is so expensive but it was well worth it. Over the years I have shot many interesting types of events. What I like about photography is that it never gets boring. Each event presents a new challenge. You never stop learning in the industry and I love that aspect of it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We shoot all types of events including weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, charity events, corporate events and church events. All photos delivered to the client are placed on a USB flash drive with full resolution. We provide an online gallery for each event so that all attendees and out of town guests may view and purchase pictures.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One piece of advice when looking for a photographer is to view the person's web site and see all of the events that the person has done. If you look closely at my web site you will see a lot of the same faces in different galleries. What this means is that I am getting hired over and over by the same companies and families. Repeat business says a lot to anyone looking to hire someone to perform a service.
