I originally was satisfied with their work but now since they have dodged our calls for TWO months and have not contacted us about completing the stain (which we paid for) I know think they are thieves. They came and did what I asked and did other jobs for me that I asked them to do right away and I hadn't asked them to Doo in the initial hiring. Very personable .I will hire them again if something comes up. They can do everything I had them install faucets,put inside ceiling lights ,outside flood lights and they did a great job and quickly. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For certain tasks I do have a flat rate pricing system but as a handyman I get requests for such a varied list of projects that I mostly look to build an estimate based on the scope of work. Sometimes it's hourly, sometimes flat rate, but most often it's by the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get a complete understanding of the customers needs, communication preferences, and schedule. Then I do my best to meet those needs in a timely fashion. My ultimate goal is to establish a long term working relationship with each new customer based on trust and overall satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a monthly subscriber to "The Family Handyman" magazine, I regularly consult with other pro's in many different fields to learn additional knowledge or new "tricks of the trade" and I am a regular shopper at both Lowes and Home Depot which helps me stay up to date on the latest home improvement technology and tools.
