Gary is a professional. On time. Delivers the outcome discussed. This was a commercial property with a few issues, running the gambit. All requested work was completed at a level that reached beyond expectations. True professionalism. Thanks Gary.Jan 27, 2017Verified
Gary removed a tree from our yard. He was responsive, punctual, friendly, skilled, fast and neat. We were glad to find him and plan to hire him for other projects.Nov 22, 2017Verified

Gary & Jen were on time & were ready to get started & worked with my schedule . I had a long to-do list and it is now completed. My favorite project was my front door getting a new blue look. Thanks , CathyJul 23, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Sometimes. If a quote request on Thumbtack says something like" door won't close"... That could be anything from a few minutes adjusting a latch to realizing a door frame has been devoured by termites and needs replacement . I strive for flat rates based on the actual work required, which often can be determined. Plumbing on the other hand is notorious for " surprises" so I am more cautious with bidding this type of work and charge an hourly rate. I find that flat rates work best for everyone and I provide those whenever possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Well... At the very least I try to show up on time. Lol. Generally there is a small conversation concerning the project before work begins to determine what actually has to be done. From that point solutions are determined and the project most times goes very smoothly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?A lot of the skills that I have are naturally inherent however I did spend many years in the construction field learning all the trades and that helped balance my overall abilities to problem solve and understand the architectural and structural reasoning behind how things are assemble and built. I approach home repair in a methodical ,deductive way so problem solving and actively repairing almost anything ,combined with the many years of training makes this work rather pleasant and fulfilling.
