Introduction: I have been an active music student since the age of 6 and I never want to quit learning about music! I am a currently Doctoral student of Piano Performance at UNCG and I am scheduled to complete my degree in Spring 2017. (I'm just slightly excited about the prospect.) I have been teaching piano for at least 10 years and have had a wide range of students in a wide range of teaching settings from 5 year old beginners to college juniors. I have taught in a classroom setting as well as private lessons. In addition to a doctorate in piano performance I am also working on a Post Masters Certification in Theory Pedagogy. I love working with enthusiastic students who are ready to learn! I have been a student for a long time (and am still a student) so I thoroughly enjoy the process of learning. I believe in a mutual respect between teacher and student.

My 6 year old son has been getting piano lessons from Julianna for 6 weeks now. He gets excited to go to her house for his lessons. She explains everything on his level and he is always excited to practice the new songs. She is an amazing teacher and has made a great impact on my little man.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $25 per half hour, $35 for 45 minutes, $45 for an hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a potential student responds to my quote I will usually set up a date for an initial meeting to just talk about my teaching style and expectations and to see if the student is comfortable with me. Then we proceed with lessons if the situation is agreeable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. I am a current candidate for a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance with a projected graduation of Spring 2017
