My company Terrapin Events has hired Herb N' Roots to cater our large 2000-5000 person running events. Josh and Alex were both a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to our needs. At Bridge to Brews they provided a full breakfast to our 200+ VIP's in the private lounge serving creative takes on breakfast classics. The feedback about the food and service were the best we have ever received! For our Cinco de Mayo half marathon Herb N' Roots provided delicious breakfast burritos to all 2500+ of our participants in about an hour and a half. For our fall half marathon, Run Like Hell, we hired Herb N' Roots once again to cater the food for all of our participants. They made a hearty vegetarian soup with organic broccoli, wild rice, beans and other seasonal vegetable COMPLETELY from scratch and onsite. Serving all 4,500 of our participants without missing a beat. I cannot recommend Herb N' Roots highly enough and will continue to hire them for all of our events each year. I would best describe Herb N' Roots as versatile. I first tasted Josh and Alex's food at the Vancouver Farmers Market, where they were serving their signature "Weekend Brunch": Vegan biscuits and gravy, Arugula salad with preserved lemon, a Salmon bowl with roast vegetables, smoked chard and brown rice. Really?! I felt as if I'd hit the culinary jackpot. Following repeat visits and chats, I learned more about their vast repetoire: Confit of tuna loin, Prawns with harissa cocktail sauce, Spanish omelette with dry Jack cheese, spinach, piquillo peppers and a Sherry cream sauce. And, would you believe a pig roast, snout to tail, on site? And, speaking of on site,Josh, Alex and their friendly, easy -going crew can make your event relaxing, carefree and delicious. How's that for versatility?

My husband and I used Herb n Roots Catering for our wedding last year and they exceeded our expectations. Alex & Josh have fresh creative menu ideas and use seasonally local organic produce. The the food was terrifically detail oriented with layers of amazing flavors in each bite. Everyone at the wedding complimented us on our catering selections. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
