Introduction: I am an independent contractor based in the South Shore area. I have experience doing anything from interior finish (crown moldings, baseboard, custom window sil and trim, patching walls, window and door replacement, hardwood flooring, interior/exterior railings and banisters, cedar and vinyl siding and anything as small as replacing broken tiles, light fixture installation or mounting your flat screen TV on your wall. Stephen is a very pleasant young man who arrived at my home on time and eager to complete the job I requested. He began taking measurements to mount my TV. I knew I was in good hands. He works with confidence and is very thorough. Before he left, I mentioned a door I was having trouble closing. He kindly took a look and was able to fix it for me. Stephen is a hard-working, energetic young man. I look forward to his return in the near future.

I had a growing "honey-do" list of things around the house that I just could NOT accomplish on my own. "Thumb-tack"put me in touch w Steve Deagle, the No.1 handyman- Contractor listed w them; serving the Quincy area.... Steve is young,energetic and a fine craftsman. His goal is to get the work done, in a timely fashion, and have the finished product look very professional. He Certainly accomplished that and then some, at my home. I was very pleased w his work and as I get unpacked and decide where I want to put my pictures, paintings, wall clocks, Et other heavy decor; put up the curtain rods, etc...... You can bet, I'm going to ask for Steve Deagle.

I hired Steve for several small jobs and he charged $280 for the job of mounting 2 TVs, hanging a pic, an electric fireplace and 4 mirrors. He was very nice, although it was difficult to get him to come when he said he was. Finally he came and worked hard, so it seemed. He was very pleasant throughout. However, he mounted the TVs too high and the mirrors incorrectly and unsafe. The mirrors had pieces on each corner to mount the mirrors to the wall securely. He chose to take a short cut and just sit the mirrors on top of the mounted screws. A few days later I went to clean his fingerprints off the mirrors and it fell off the wall. I called him back to give him a chance to rectify the problem and he make an appointment to come out and never showed up. Then he refused to answer any of my text. I then asked for a partial refund since I have to hire someone else to fix the problem and he just won't respond. Too bad, he appeared to be a nice enough kid, but he lack professionalism. I definitely would have allowed him to fix his mistake.
