We have responded to the last several reviews in kind by taking action to correct the problem(s) We had lost our lead man in early January and were pressed to find quality help, we have made an out with the new..in with the old adjustment and believe that our prior 5 star gold rating speaks volumes but wish to convey to any potential clients that mistakes were made and corrected...we hope you will give us the opportunity to prove it....

When I contacted the business I told them that I had a leak from an upstairs shower into a downstairs closet and that I had a shower head in a separate bathroom that I wanted to have replaced. I scheduled a time to have the plumber come out and do the repairs. When the plumber arrived he was very dirty, unshaven not wearing any type of uniform of ID or anything to indicate who he worked for, and just looked very unprofessional. On his initial visit he arrived more than 30 minutes late. Once he got started, he removed a vent cover in my downstairs closet to access the leaking plumbing. After looking at the problem he said that he needed the assistance of another plumber who was "smaller than himself" to be able to fix the problem. He left open hole in the ceiling and his ladder and said he would return later that afternoon to fix the problem. Several hours later the plumber returned with another guy and the two of them went to work and fixed the problem. In all the repair took most of the day and consisted of replacing a leaking joint under the shower. While the plumber was at my house my mother-in-law said she too also needed some plumbing work and the plumber agreed to return the following day at 1pm to work for my mother-in-law. Before leaving I asked the plumber to replace the shower head I previously mentioned. The plumber removed the old shower head, removed a pipe from the shower that the shower head was attached to and took it out to his truck. A few minutes later the plumber returned with the pipe which he had attempted to fix by cutting and said that I would need to go to the hardware store and replace the pipe if I wanted to change the shower head. The plumber did not offer to fix what he had cut or leave me with a working shower, instead he left me with a non-working shower and expected me to go on and get the replacement parts myself. We paid the plumber the $250 he charged us for replacing the joint under the shower and he agreed to come back the next day at 1pm to replace the drywal in the closet and address my mother-in-law's plumbing issue. The next day the plumber did not call or show up. After waiting several hours I called the office and the call went to voicemail. I then contacted the office via Thumbtack and asked why the plumber did not show up. I got a text from the plumber a short while later saying that he was out I town with his wife at a doctor's appointment and could be at my house the next morning at 7am. Reluctantly I told the plumber I would see him at 7am the next day. On day 3, the plumber was again a no-call, no-show at 7am which was a time that he chose to be there. Again I contacted the office and inquired about the plumber and again a few hours later the plumber text me to say that there was a misunderstanding and that he would be there later that afternoon at 2pm. That afternoon the plumber arrived more than 90 minutes late without a reason to come in and replace the drywal in the closet that was damaged from the leak and again agreed to meet my mother-in-law the following day to help her with a gas line problem. On the plus side: The plumber fixed then leak and replaced the drywal On the down side: The plumber was unprofessional, never arrived on time, came unprepared to complete the work, had poor communications with the client, missed appointments without contacting us, left us with a non-functioning shower and expected us to replace the part he damaged, and only called or texted us to let us know what was going on after we contacted the office several times to figure out why he did not show up as promised on multiple occasions. In all, I would definitely not use this service again or recommend them to anyone else. It was only after contacting the office the second time to check up on the plumber that I noticed the company's other poor reviews.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a normal range that is applied by the type of work that will be required and also upon the clients status and ability to pay, we dont believe you should have to be wealthy or take a second on your home for service...However, I feel it to be unfair to the client and to our company to quote without seeing, with the exception of very small requests.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with a perspective client face to face, often this is what will make or break a deal, its important for our clients to be able to personalize with us and for trust to be mutual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is much to be said on this question, from my personal to the people who work with and for me. Myself as a mother and background in nursing, to the people who make this company great that are Master Carpenters, Millwrights, an Environmental engineer, Electrician, Etc.
