I was very pleased with the quick response and quote of Curtis Moore. I did get a total of 7 quotes from Thumbtack in 12 hours. I decided to call Curtis and speak with him, he had a distinct Southern accent and listened carefully to my situation and offered to send me the personal background report on the driver that hit my mother, who was found to be at fault. The report had extensive details on the driver of the car and his extended family; including his personal and financial background and legal Assets history. He told me upfront that if I was not satisfied that I did not have to pay him for it. This sounded very fair and I liked his confidence in being able to do the job. His background check was thorough and confirmed most of the information I already had in my case it unfortunately did not find any other property or assets to go after in this case so Curtis lowered his fee to be helpful. I really appreciated this and would definitely hire him again. This saved me from trying to sue someone with nothing. As the old saying goes “Sue a beggar get a louse” THANK YOU CURTIS. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes flat rate are for the things I can do with my computer background checks, asset checks and finding people. People are found using their billing address. If you pay a bill it becomes your billing address. 85% of the time that is the place they are living. 10% of the people have a Post office box and 5% is what I call off the grit. The hour rate is from $55.00 to $75.00 a hour plus miles at a rate of $.45 to $.55 per mile. I don't don't field work that much. The reason it cost people a lot of money and you don't always find what you are looking for. I feel bad about giving a person $300.00 bill and didn't find what they were looking for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to talk to them and learn how best I can help them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am to old to go back to school. I do read about the new thing to keep up but no school.
