As our officiant, JP was amazing. Getting ready for the big moment, JP went above and beyond and helped our (at the time) 4-year old son get dressed in his tiny fancy tux. With the ceremony, JP understood we had reservations regarding some of the standard ceremonial practices and graciously went along with all the changes we requested. He gave us a truly personalized experience. He was lighthearted and provided a sense of fun to the ever-boring photoshoot afterwards. For the reception, JP gave a beautiful speech in congratulations for my wife and I, and when we were dissatisfied with the DJ's performance, JP eased our stress by dealing with the guy for us, man-to-man. When gay marriage was finally legalized a few months later, JP very awesomely officiated a second ceremony for us. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and I highly recommend him.

He did a fantastic job depicting what we wanted in a wedding. He was very personable I'm connecting with us and how we were with our relationship. He knew what was best for our wedding and he made it absolutely beautiful. We both couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceremony. It honestly was a moment and memory we wish we could relive over and over. He did such a great job! What's great is that he kept in on constant communication making sure it was what we wanted and didn't want anything but that for us. Great guy! He did a remarkable job!

He did a wonderful job at our wedding. He followed a script we had put together. Being that we are women, my wife and I were married again when it became legal here in Minnesota. He wrote something special for us that day and it had even my Dad in tears.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't! I have a suggested tip amount, based on the size of the wedding and the estimated amount of time I'd spend preparing/writing the script (mileage is sometimes considered as well). BUT, I'm always willing to negotiate based on financial circumstances. I DO NOT do this as a business and make no profit like others may. I just want you to appreciate what I have to offer if you can.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak on the phone and find out what their vision is and who's all involved... Including children and witnesses. From there, I can suggest one of my best suited script examples to review.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I hate to see people being taken advantage of.
