CHOREOGRAPHER/DANCE TEACHER

Introduction: Jaime is a Dance Teacher and Choreographer from Boston, MA. She teaches all ages and all styles of dance, however her specialty is in commercial styles including Freestyle, Jazz and Sassy Hip Hop. Jaime has been dancing and performing since the age of 2 years old. As a young tween, she would choreograph numbers on her front porch with her boombox, dancing to the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, Janet Jackson and other hits from the early 90's era. In High School, she joined MJT New Friends Through Dance, which allowed her to travel and perform at venues. ​As an adult she has had the chance to choreograph musicals, teach workshops as well as continue to perform with local theater groups. I take great pride in knowing that I give confidence to those who have never danced to becoming a budding dancer with my dance lessons, whether they be private, semi or group. Within choreographing musicals, I enjoy being able to create the story of the script through movement on stage for the audience to enjoy. Dancing is fun and is a great form of exercise. Through dance you should feel the emotion of joy along with a little bit of sweat.
