Jake the Tutor

Introduction: Hello! My name is Jake and I am a current senior and honor student in high school. I have tutored a bit over the past year, and I also have experience as a Summer Camp counselor for 12 and 7-year-olds. I would be best at tutoring algebra, geometry, and calculus. I have recently taken all of these classes, finished with high grades, and would love to get the chance to share my knowledge. I am also a tutor for the Math and English sections of the ACT. I recently finished the ACT test-taking process with my fair-share of tutors; towards the end I stopped going to tutors because I found that in some cases I was teaching the tutor. I am confident that I could provide other students with all the same strategies that professional tutors could provide. Because I am still in school and younger than most tutors, I think I could provide a unique perspective for teaching. I have had quite a few teachers, so I know what works and what doesn't.
